About the position
Doubletree by Hilton Wichita Airport is looking for Team Members to join our Front Desk department. We offer competitive wages, benefits, and room rate discounts all over the world. We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests' first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Register guests upon arrival and manage the check-in and check-out process.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Manage reservations and ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
- Assist guests with special requests and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hotel industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management software.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Experience with cash handling and financial transactions.
