Part-Time Customer Assistant Representative ID- 11041

About the position

The Part-Time Customer Assistant Representative at Envoy Air is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to passengers at Miami International Airport. This role involves assisting customers with various needs, ensuring their safety and comfort while traveling, and handling baggage. Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and provide high-level customer service to the traveling public.
  • Assist passengers, including large parties and those with disabilities, escorting them to and from the terminal and aircraft.
  • Handle the loading and unloading of baggage and provide assistance to disabled passengers or others needing special assistance.
  • Drive a golf cart or tugs in congested areas when necessary.
  • Fill out passenger paperwork relating to unaccompanied minor passengers and may be required to stay overnight escorting them.
  • Lift and carry heavy luggage weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Monitor airport activity and perform required security checks of aircraft post-arrival and pre-departure.
  • Assist with oversize and valet luggage to ensure proper tagging and routing.
  • Ensure unattended aircraft are secure and perform security checks on all international arrivals and departures.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of aircraft loading and baggage handling.
  • Remove unclaimed bags from carousel and stack them into storage racks.
  • Work shifts that include irregular and/or extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License or Government Identification.
  • High school diploma or GED or international equivalent.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
  • Willing and able to lift and push items weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be flexible to work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, and/or fingerprinting.
  • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks for unescorted access privileges to airport security areas.
