Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that incoming shipments are accurately received, processed, and stored. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Receiver will be responsible for managing inventory levels and ensuring that all products are properly accounted for. Bonus up to 10%

Duties

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock.
  • Operate RF scanners to log received items into the inventory system.
  • Perform order picking and packing duties as needed to fulfill customer orders.
  • Load and unload products from delivery trucks using forklifts or manual handling techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve efficiency in the receiving process.
  • Replenish picked locations

Requirements

  • Experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software.
  • Proficient in using RF scanners for inventory management.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Capable of lifting heavy packages and standing for extended periods.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
  • Previous Food Warehouse, Forklift and RF Scanning Experience preferred.
