It comes in and comes down the conveyor belt. The Sortation Center Associates go around and ship it down to whichever shoot that it’s intended for. Moreover, it’s their job to grab that package and put it on the right pallet. They’re scanning packages, scanning them to the pallet, making them look pretty so they don’t fall over in transit. Once the pallet is filled up, then it gets wrapped with plastic wrap. The life cycle of a package is typically a couple of hours. They have to move as fast as they can. • Scan and sort customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Ensure that all packaging materials are in good condition before packing them
• Move items from one location to another using a hand truck or pallet jack (must be able to lift at least 50 lbs)
• Pack customer orders in boxes, fill out paperwork, and stack boxes onto pallets for shipment in Surprise, AZ

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor (e.g., unload new inventory)
